The main difference between the two platforms is that Lumion content resides in the Lumion Scene file, while Enscape content can be managed within Revit. Yet how is the content that it supplies? Not as extensive as in Lumion, and impossible to visualise in Revit.
There is no better way to experience your model during design. However, it has not true VR capability.Įnscape is a great design tool, albeit of lesser quality, but it gives Realtime VR rendering, which is awesome. It also incorporates models form a variety of origins. Lumion, for instance, is great, presenting high end still, video and panoramic renders very quickly.
There are other platforms that manage visualization much better. As anyone who has used Revit knows, visualizing the model in realistic mode if there is a lot of photo realistic content present slows down a PC appreciably.
